Morning arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. You will be greeted with a warm traditional welcome and assisted by our representative. Proceed to visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10 km) – a revered seat of the Tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Peethas in the country. Later, drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, often referred to as the "Scotland of the East." En route, stop at Umiam Lake, the largest manmade lake in Northeast India. After a scenic drive of approximately 3 hours, arrive in Shillong and check in to your city hotel. After freshening up, visit the Cathedral of Mary and the Polo Ground.
